Delhi CM Atishi Slams BJP Ramesh Bidhuri for his remarks over her Father
On Monday, while addressing the press conference the Chief Minister of Delhi Atishi broke down while addressing the distressful comments laid on her father by the BJP leader Ramesh Bidhuri.
“I want to tell Ramesh Bidhuri, my father was a teacher throughout his life, he has taught thousands of children coming from poor and lower-middle-class families, now he is 80 years old… Now he is so ill that he can’t even walk without help. Will you (Ramesh Bidhuri) do such a dirty thing for the sake of election? He has come down to the situation where he is abusing an old man. I never thought that this country’s politics could stoop so low.
Ramesh Bidhuri has been an MP from South Delhi for 10 years. His party did not consider him worthy of giving him an MP ticket based on his work. When his party does not trust Ramesh Bidhuri’s work, how will the people of the Kalkaji assembly constituency trust him?” – CM Atishi during the press conference.
Other AAP leaders, and opposition political personalities have raised their support for CM Atishi and slammed Ramesh Bidhuri’s disrespecting comments over her & her father.
“The kind of language BJP leader Ramesh Bidhuri has used for woman Chief Minister Atishi Ji shows his mentality. If these people can say such things about a woman Chief Minister, then if by mistake they win, how will they behave with common women?” said Priyanka Kakar, Chief National Spokesperson of AAP.
