Ramayana Movie Update: Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi’s First Look to Drop at WAVES Summit

As per reports, the team is planning to launch it at the upcoming World Audio Visual & Entertainment Summit (WAVES Summit) 2025.

Nitesh Tiwari is the director of the movie, and Ranbir Kapoor is playing the character of Lord Rama with Sai Pallavi as Goddess Sita. The movie is planned in two parts — the first part will release on Diwali 2026, and the second part in Diwali 2027. Last year, the makers shared a poster, but fans have been waiting to see more.

According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, the first-ever WAVES Summit will take place from May 1-4, 2025. It will bring together big stars and filmmakers from across India. To make the event even bigger, the team of Ramayana might release a poster or a video teaser during the summit.

A source shared that the organizers of the WAVES Summit are aiming to make it one of the most talked-about events of the year. If Ramayana’s team unveils something at the event, it will be a huge moment both for the summit and the film.

However, plans are still being finalized. The team had earlier thought about announcing Ramayana on Ram Navami 2024, but it did not happen. Now, all eyes are on the WAVES Summit for an official update.

Apart from Ranbir and Sai Pallavi, the film will also feature Yash as Ravana, Lara Dutta, Sunny Deol, and Indira Krishna in key roles.

Fans are excited and hopeful that they will finally get a sneak peek at one of the biggest films coming up in Indian cinema.
