Offsite companies in India make a comeback with relaxed Covid-19 measures
Covid-19 restrictions are on the verge of easing down in the country. At many places and sectors, it has already shown positive impacts of relaxed covid-19 measures. Offsite companies are other sectors who are bound to be affected just as much.
Companies like Urban Company, NoBroker, UpGrad, Razorpay, Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals, MG Motor India, ITC Infotech, Ekostay and Meesho are confirmed to witness profotes and improvements due to change in the protocols.
These companies were contacted by economic times to give their take on what is going on in the sector post the ease of coronavirus. As per the compiled report, the offsite companies at domestic destinations will keep the travel cost in mind along with the time taken to travel.
The agenda at the moment is to look into the strategy to implement all the things which were decided pre-pandemic. Having said that, the organization leader stresses that the more important thing right now is to connect in person, especially when this is being done after two years.
Amit Agarwal, co-founder of Bengaluru-based NoBroke, shared his point of view on the same. He started off by saying that they have had many people join them during the pandemic but did not meet them ahead of it. “Our recent offsite at Goa was a chance to change that – we set aside all work and 200 of us had fun for a couple of days, attended yoga sessions, and got to know each other,” said Agarwal.
