Cristiano Ronaldo Declares Loss of One of His Newborn Twins But Blessed With A Daughter
The Manchester United player declared through social media that her partner Georgina Rodriguez gave birth to a daughter while their son died during her pregnancy. They were expecting twins.
Cristiano Ronaldo, the Manchester United forward, resorted to social media on Monday to announce the death of one of his newborn twins. The footballer said that his partner Georgina Rodriguez gave birth to a girl while their son expired.
During the “tough” period, Ronaldo has also formally requested seclusion. In October of last year, he and Georgina announced that they were expecting twins.
“It is with great sadness that we must inform you that our baby son has passed away. It is the most excruciating agony that any parent can experience. Just the birth of our newborn child has given us the courage to live this time with optimism and joy,” Ronaldo said in a statement.
“We’d like to express our gratitude to the medical and nursing staff for their support and care. We are heartbroken over this loss and respectfully want privacy during this terrible time. You are our angel, baby. We shall always adore you.” the Portuguese footballer concluded.
Ronaldo has three additional children, and the couple met while he was at Real Madrid. They have a four-year-old daughter together.
Manchester United tweeted, “Your grief is our pain, Cristiano.” “At this time, I’m sending love and strength to you and your family.”
Real Madrid shares the family’s sadness and wishes to express its love and affection to them through the club’s webpage,
“Its President and its Board of Directors deeply regret the death of one of the children that our beloved Cristiano Ronaldo and his partner, Georgina Rodriguez, were expecting.”
