Apple’s iPhone 14 series could come in only two sizes instead of three
The Apple Inc. iPhone14 series is going to launch in October this year. Apple Inc manufactures iPhones that use Apple’s iOS mobile operating system. The latest reports suggest the next iPhone series seems to have only two sizes instead of three.
Apple iPhone 14 leaks have been surfacing on the internet ever since the iPhone 13 series was launched in September 2021. Several leaks have surfaced on the internet ahead of the launch, which promises a number of changes. Reportedly, Apple might ditch the mini variant for the next iPhone series. The current iPhone 13 series is manufactured in three sizes.
Reportedly, the popularity of the iPhone 13 and its series across the world helped the United States-based trillion-dollar company to gain more popularity. The social media users got excited about the upcoming series after computer-aided design (CAD) renders of the iPhone 14 Max Pro got leaked.
According to media reports, the 6.1-inches iPhone 14 Pro and the 6.7-inches iPhone 14 Pro Max, will sport new designs. The users will only see these two kinds of iPhones sizes in the 14 series. The users will not see an iPhone 14 mini. However, an iPhone 14 Max (non-Pro) will be added to the series. This would mean that users will see four iPhone 14 variants – the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro with 6.1-inch screens and the iPhone 14 Max and iPhone 14 Pro Max with 6.7-inch screens.
Reportedly, Apple is also rumoured to launch the iPhone 14’s non-Pro models with the current A15 chipset instead of the next-gen A16 chips. The company will skip the third rear camera for the non-Pro models. As per reports, the entire series is rumoured to miss periscope cameras in favour of an upgraded 48MP main camera. As per leaked data, Apple is anticipated to position its logo in the centre of the rear panel.
