Train Hijack in Pakistan! Forces Rescue 155 Hostages, 27 Rebels Killed- Updates
Over 150 hostages have been freed after armed rebels hijacked a train carrying more than 400 passengers in Pakistan’s troubled Balochistan region. According to reports at least 27 rebels were killed during gunfight.
155 hostages were rescued in this operation and many among them are women and children.

The violent incident took place on the Jaffar Express. According to the sources, armed rebels from the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) hijacked the train. To release the hostages a clash happened between the rebels and Pakistani forces, and the battle continued through the night. It is still unclear how many hostages remain on board.
Some reports indicate that a group of rebels took some hostages into the mountains. Security forces are now chasing after them. Meanwhile, other rebels have held on to the locomotive. The BLA has denied suffering any casualties and even claimed to have killed 30 soldiers, but authorities have not confirmed these numbers.
