SNAP 2026 Registration Portal Opens for December Management Entrance Exams

The SNAP registration portal for 2026 is live now, offering MBA hopefuls yet another chance to get admission into management courses that are conducted at Symbiosis International (Deemed University). The Symbiosis National Aptitude Test, SNAP, is a compulsory test for a variety of postgraduate management courses at Symbiosis Institutes. At present, the portal mentions MBA admissions as being open along with registration and admission details for the year 2026.
December will be the crucial month for students intending to take up MBA in 2027. Aspiring candidates can give as many as three SNAP tests, and the best score will be counted for the purpose of admission.
What Is SNAP 2026?
The SNAP test, Symbiosis National Aptitude Test, is the entrance test which candidates must appear for admission into MBA programs at Symbiosis International (Deemed University). The detailed information for year 2026 contains details on MBA programs conducted at various Symbiosis institutions in disciplines like Business Management, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Operations, Analytics, International Business, and Technology based management.
However, it should be noted that the SNAP test is not the last stage of admission. Candidates have to first take the entrance test and then apply for their desired program after which they will be taken forward in the selection process.
When Will SNAP 2026 Exams Be Held?
SNAP 2026 exam will be taken in the form of three online computer-based tests in December. The test schedule is fixed as December 13, December 19 and December 26, 2026. The candidates may take one, two or all three attempts of the SNAP 2026 test. The best marks out of the attempts taken will be considered.
The test will be taken in online computer-based mode and the test time period will be 60 minutes. The exact test timings will be informed through the admit card.
When Does the SNAP 2026 Registration Deadline Come?
Candidates intending to take the SNAP 2026 exam should complete their application and payment process by November 25, 2026. As per the official SNAP site, the deadline for application and payment process will come on November 25, 2026.
Students are advised not to delay their application up to the last date as registration requires filling up personal as well as academic details, selection of test attempts and cities, uploading of required details and making of payment.
How Much Does SNAP 2026 Cost?
As per the official SNAP registration details, the test registration fee is ₹2,550 per attempt, plus government taxes applicable on a separate basis. Thus, for those taking more than one attempt, they will be paying the test fee for every attempt.
In addition to that, there is another programme registration fee of ₹1,000 per programme, along with applicable taxes. Note that paying the SNAP test fee alone will not make an applicant eligible for consideration in all Symbiosis MBA programmes. The candidates have to separately register themselves in the programmes they want to apply for.
Who Can Apply for SNAP 2026?
The minimum eligibility criteria include holding a bachelor’s degree from any recognised university or institution. As per the official SNAP registration details, the general candidates must hold a minimum of 50% marks or an equivalent grade, and the minimum percentage required for SC/ST candidates is 45%. Even the final-year graduation candidates are also eligible for applying, provided they meet all the eligibility conditions for admission.
As there can be some additional requirements for individual Symbiosis programmes, candidates should verify the eligibility criteria of the concerned institute and programme before filling out the application form.
How to Register for SNAP 2026?
The candidates will be able to register for SNAP completely via the official portal of SNAP. It includes registration for SNAP, submission of all personal and educational details, upload of necessary photograph and other details, choice of attempt number and city, and finally payment of the necessary fee amount.
Similarly, via the same website portal, candidates will be able to select Symbiosis MBA courses and make registration and payment of fees at the program level. It is to be noted that the official website makes it clear that SNAP registration is just the first step since there are separate admission processes followed by different institutes later.
What is SNAP 2026 Pattern of Exam?
SNAP 2026 exam will be a computer-based test of 60 minutes’ duration and students will be allowed to give up to three attempts but their best score alone will be taken into account in the admission process.
The test will be based on management aptitude and the following subjects: General English, Analytical and Logical Reasoning, Quantitative, Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency.
When Will SNAP 2026 Admit Cards Be Released?
According to the official schedule, separate admit cards will be issued for every attempt. The admit card for Test 1 is expected to be issued on December 7, 2026, whereas the admit card for Test 2 and Test 3 will be issued on December 11 and December 18, respectively.
The admit card needs to be downloaded and printed from the official SNAP website and all details need to be crosschecked before attending the test.
What Happens After SNAP 2026?
Passing SNAP does not assure a candidate’s admission to an MBA program at any Symbiosis Institute. The candidate will be shortlisted for various programs depending on his/her performance after taking the exam.
The shortlisted candidates attend further admission procedures which are held separately by the Symbiosis institutes.
In conclusion, one should not take registering to SNAP as the whole application process. Other things like choosing the correct programs and filling out the registration process for the same is equally crucial.
Why Students Should Register Early
With the deadline for registration fixed at November 25, the candidates have enough time until the December examinations. Early registration allows them to get the desired test date and the city of their choice and more time for focused preparations.
Moreover, the three test attempts system allows students to take a strategic approach to the examination as the result will be based on the best performance among all three attempts.
