Mumbai Indians Sings Squad with Three International Cricketers

Before playing in the IPL playoffs, Mumbai Indians have strengthened their team by bringing in three new international players as replacements for those leaving. The five-time champs have recruited England’s Jonny Bairstow, Richard Gleeson from Sri Lanka and England’s Charith Asalanka.

The franchise announced these new signings since Will Jacks, Ryan Rickelton and Corbin Bosch will be unavailable after the last game due to duties with the national team. As part of the changes, Bairstow, a wicketkeeper-batsman known for his T20 skills, is now the replacement for Jacks and has earned the highest amount which is 5.25 crore.Gleeson from England joins MI as a pace bowler, taking Rickelton’s place at INR 1 crore. Asalanka, who was bought by Punjab Kings for INR 75 lakhs, could replace Bosch and help the team with his middle-order batting and bowling.
