Several players and captains from the 18th Indian Premier League have been given penalties for breaking rules by going slow and misbehaving on the field. The season’s record for fines belongs to Digvesh Rathi, who has been hauled before the umpire for repeatedly making his ‘controversial celebration for the Lucknow Super Giants. Because of his four demerit points, the 25-year-old bowler got suspended from playing for one match following three separate incidents.
