IPL 2025: Two Teams Sign New Players as Replacements

Announced by Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bengaluru that they have both made strategic changes, signing new players for the ongoing TATA Indian Premier League. Madhya Pradesh’s leg-spinner Shivam Shukla will now play for KKR in place of Rovman Powell. A surgical procedure on the throat leaves the Caribbean player unable to compete in the tournament. The Madhya Pradesh batsman Shukla was bought by the defending champions for a price of INR 30 lakh. With Morris, KKR strengthens its spin bowling, which should help it stay ahead in the competition.
