IMD Issues Heavy Rainfall and Cyclonic Storm Warnings Across Kerala and Coastal South India

The IMD has sounded heavy rainfall alerts for Kerala and other parts of South India due to the onset of the northeast monsoon season. Moreover, the department has cautioned that there may be an onset of cyclone formation in the Bay of Bengal area which might become cyclonic activity towards the end of October 26.
As per the forecast issued on October 24, there will be various degrees of rainfall in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, coastal Andhra Pradesh, and some adjoining island regions.
