Deepika Padukone Out of Prabhas’ ‘Spirit’?: Here’s What We Know
Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone was being cast opposite Prabhas in Sandeep Reddy Vanga‘s next mega project, Spirit, but now there are whispers that Deepika is no longer attached to the film.
Although there is no official statement from the makers or from the actress, social media has run with the idea that Deepika has departed from the film. One now-viral post on X makes a bunch of claims about why she exited, and how this unfolded. According to this post, Deepika had several requests for the film, and they began with:

- A big ₹20 crore fee – if true, this is a number that is worth wrapping your head around,
- Agreement for a share of profits, and
- She wanted an agreement that she would only be expected to shoot for 8 hours a day (which means only about 6+ hours of actual filming), and
- Reportedly, she didn’t want to deliver her dialogues in Telugu,
Now, industry insiders are speculating about who will be taking Deepika’s place in this lead role. Although it is way too soon to know who will be finalized, some names are now being tossed around as candidates to lead along Prabhas. At this point, fans have to wait for an official announcement from the team. But one thing is certain — Spirit could take a different turn with a new face if Deepika is actually out.
