Sadie Sink Reportedly Cast as Mayday Parker in Marvel Film
Fans of Marvel are talking about Sadie Sink being said to play the daughter of Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson in the coming movie Spider-Man: Brand New Day. A recent episode of The Hot Mic podcast featured John Rocha giving this update, citing someone Rocha knows to be reliable.
Rocha reports that Sadie Sink’s version of Mayday will be separate from Tom Holland’s Spider-Man. She may be part of Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man movies which could involve a multiverse plot that links different Spider-Man actors.
What If…? #105 in 1998 was the first place where Mayday Parker, also called Spider-Girl or Spider-Woman, appeared. Since she got her father’s spider powers, she has gained popularity in alternative universe comics. Although she first appeared in the animation for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (2023), this will be the first time she appears in live-action.
