The pearl core trend is dominating runways and red carpets in 2023, with some of the biggest names from the film and fashion world making a statement in unique designs. So, let’s take a look at five celebrities who have delivered the best fashion moments with pearls.
The internationally acclaimed actor and fashion icon was seen at the Cannes Film Festival 2022 in a gorgeous off-white sari from Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. She paired the look with a blouse adorned with pearls and crystals, and opted for smokey eyes and a nude lip for makeup.
The list would be incomplete without mentioning the iconic look of Kim at Met Gala 2023. The Schiaparelli outfit featured 50,000 pearls covering her bust and legs – embellished over a nude-toned bodysuit. She teamed the look with a dramatic cape jacket.
It has to be our favourite on the list. Alia chose a classic pearl gown designed by Prabal Gurung for her Met Gala debut in 2023. The outfit featured 100,000 pearls, with the look inspired from supermodel Claudia Schiffer’s 1992 Chanel bridal look.
She is the most recent entrant into the pearl core trend. The Mimi star attended the IIFA Awards in a Manish Malhotra-designed vintage white silk-satin sari embellishd with shiny pearls. She paired the outfit with a matching blouse featuring pearl strings and opted for minimal makeup.
