We Would Have Beaten BJP In Gujarat, If AAP Wasn’t There: Rahul Gandhi
Rahul Gandhi said that they would have beaten BJP in Gujarat election, if AAP wouldn’t be there. However the final results were: BJP (156), Cong (17) & AAP (5) only.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi made a dig on Friday, against BJP’s magnanimous victory in the Gujarat assembly elections.
He said that his grand old party would have definitely won if the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) was not participating in the polls.
However, AAP & Congress were able to win 5 and 17 seats only, others got 4, while BJP alone clinched 156 seats, out of 182 seats.
Thus Rahul Gandhi’s claim of winning the Gujarat election 2022, is being shared on social media as a joke or meme. Netizens are saying that the Congress party is no more a national party. It has already become a regional political party like others.
Rahul reiterated the party’s claim about AAP being the “B team” behind BJP and he conspired with them in order to harm Congress.
“The BJP is very transparent about who they really are. They divide India. AAP is BJP’s proxy. The Congress will win any election that it faces if it understands what it isn’t,” he said, according to an NDTV report.
Gandhi also stated that the rise in popularity of the BJP (and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, or RSS) was good for the Congress party’s smooth transition.
During a Friday press conference, Gandhi stated that the Congress party would take down the Bharatiya Janata Party.
Gandhi admitted that Congress made mistakes in the past. He said that the party was adapting to India’s current situation and would soon regain its position.
The Congress leader claimed that the BJP is conducting a “systematic attack campaign” against him and his party. He also accused the media of participating “willfully” in this campaign.
“There is a systematic campaign of defamation against me and the Congress party. This is their most powerful strategy.
This campaign has seen the participation of the press. The BJP is spreading the notion that the party is fading away.
According to ANI, Congress is an ideological party that is ideologically opposed to the BJP,” he stated.
“None can represent a vision of the country. He said that they can be a vision of a state or a community, but not a vision of the country.
