Delayed Release of Vijay Deverakonda’s ‘Kingdom’ with Announced New Date

After a series of delays, ‘Kingdom’, the much-awaited action thriller starring Vijay Deverakonda will not be released as originally scheduled on May 30, 2025; instead, the release date was declared late. Now, with a late announcement from the producers, the film is slated to release on July 4, 2025.

Sudden Developments Lead to a Delay It was already long-awaited by fans, and it is a spy action film from Gowtham Tinnanuri. The team shared that recent developments in the country affected their ability to hold promotional programs and celebrations with the same zeal as originally planned.

In a statement, the producers commented that, “We tried our best to stick to the original release date. But due to recent unexpected events and the current situation, we felt it’s better to shift the release to ensure the film gets the attention and launch it deserves.”

They also acknowledged the support rendered by producers Dil Raju and Nithiin in coming to this decision. Kingdom was interestingly slated for release alongside Nithiin’s film Thammudu.

Bhagyashree Borse stars as the lead actress. The soundtrack was composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas are producing the film, promising an intense concoction of action and strong emotions.
