Diljit Dosanjh is returning for his third installment of Sardaar Ji, and this time, he is bringing an added element — Pakistani actor Hania Aamir will join him in the lead role. The trailer of Sardaar Ji 3 was released on Sunday, and it has quickly become a hot topic, not just because of the comedy, but also the chaos.

Hania Aamir will be making her Punjabi film debut in this film and is playing a significant role opposite Diljit. Release Date 

Due to ongoing political sensitivities, Sardar Ji 3 will not be released in India, and instead, the makers have decided to release the film overseas only — which is scheduled for June 27. Diljit announced the Instagram post, where he said: “Sardaar Ji 3 releasing 27th June overseas only.”

The announcement of a Pakistani actor’s casting has elicited numerous reactions on social media. Some fans have expressed disappointment, especially after the recent Pahalgam terror attack and Operation Sindoor. While a section of the internet has criticised Diljit for working with the said Pakistani actor, other fans are excited to see Diljit returning to the Sardaar Ji universe again. As much backlash Sardaar Ji 3 has endured, the teaser, songs, and now this trailer have created enough curiosity that this film has received attention. Whether Sardaar Ji 3 continues the success of the original remains to be seen, but the film is stealing the spotlight at the moment.
