Air India Flight Status: Air India Express Flight Booking Hit by Route Cuts
Sweeping changes to the Air India flight status have been announced, which will severely affect the Air India Express flight booking available to thousands of people. The action of the airline to cut services on its major domestic flights can be seen as one of the most significant operational changes in the past few months.
Routes suspended until 15 July 2025:
- Bengaluru-Singapore (AI2392/2393) – 7x weekly flights
- Pune-Singapore (AI2111/2110) – 7x weekly flights
- -Mumbai-Bagdogra (AI551/552) – 7x weekly flights
Routes with reduced frequency until 15 July 2025:
- Bengaluru-Chandigarh: Reduced from 14x weekly to 7x weekly
- -Delhi-Bengaluru: Reduced from 116x weekly to 113x weekly
- Delhi-Mumbai: Reduced from 176x weekly to 165x weekly
- Delhi-Kolkata: Reduced from 70x weekly to 63x weekly
- Delhi-Coimbatore: Reduced from 13x weekly to 12x weekly
- Delhi-Goa (Dabolim): Reduced from 14x weekly to 7x weekly
- Delhi-Goa (Mopa): Reduced from 14x weekly to 7x weekly

Air India Express Flight Booking Options Reduced
The temporary cancellation of three international routes has greatly affected the Air India Express flight booking. The service between Bengaluru and Singapore, which used to provide seven flights a week, has been stopped entirely. Equally, the Pune-Singapore flight and the domestic Mumbai-Bagdogra operation are put under the halt, making their passengers resort to other arrangements in the air India Express flight booking.

We remain committed to restoring our full schedule as soon as practicable, while at all times prioritising the safety of our passengers, crew and aircraft.”
Air India Ticket Price Fluctuations Following Changes
The operational changes have brought out significant changes in the Air India ticket price structures both at the domestic and the international markets. Several important domestic flights have witnessed a major fall in the air India ticket price, with the Bengaluru-Hyderabad route recording a decline of 24 percent, where tickets were being offered at a straight ₹3,314 instead of ₹4,314.

Bengaluru-Pune and Bangalore to Chennai sectors have reported a 22 percent reduction in fares, and the Delhi-Ahmedabad segment has reported a 21 percent discount. Air India Express Ticket Price Impact on International Routes
