Republic Day 2025: Traffic Advisories for Republic Day Parade

Republic Day, the day which celebrates and honors the constitution of India which establishes a political system that protects the democracy and basic rights of every citizen in India. On January 26 of every year the prestigious “Republic Day” is celebrated throughout the nation, the President of India and other dignitaries from Indian politics will take part in this celebration to witness the scheduled events and parades.
As the whole day will be constrained with traffic jams and the roads will be overflowing with crowds. To foster an uninterrupted movement of the Republic Day Parade rehearsals which happens at Kartavya Path. The Delhi Traffic Police has announced that a special arrangements has been made on January 17, 18, 20 and 21 in accordance with the rehearsals along with the lists of traffic advisories.
Routes Barred for other vehicles
Restrictions have been made at Kartavya Path, Rafi Marg crossing, Janpath Crossing, Mansingh Road Crossing, C-Hexagon from 10.15 am to 12.30 pm.

Alternate Routes
- Motorists who travel Between North Delhi and South Delhi can opt the following alternate routes – Ring road, Sarai Kale Khan, IP Flyover, Rajghat, Lajpat Ral Marg, Mathura Road, Bhairon Road, Aurobindo Marg, Safdarjung road, Kamal Attaturk Marg, and Kautilya Marg
- East to South West Delhi via Ring road – Vandemataram Marg
- Vinay Marg, Shanti Path or New Delhi – Sardar Patel Marg, Mother Teresa Crescent, RML, Baba Kharak Singh Marg, Park Street-Mandir Marg
