Rahul Gandhi Says, “Flour Is Now ₹40 Per Liter”, BJP Responds
During the ‘Mehangai Par Halla Bol’ rally, Rahul Gandhi addressed inflation and said, “Flour was earlier ₹22 per liter, now it is now ₹40 per liter”.
On Sunday, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) criticized Congressman Rahul Gandhi for misusing the unit for aata (flour).
Gandhi stated that flour, which was previously “₹22 per liter is now ₹40 per liter” while presenting a price list to demonstrate how the commodity market has felt the heat of inflation at the Congress’ “Mehangai Par Halla Bol” rally at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi.
Then he rectified it afterwards, saying “Kilograms.”

“Rahul Gandhi doesn’t know if the flour is solid or liquid,” BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra shot out at the former president of the Congress.
Sambit Patra also said, “Rahul converted flour into liters while discussing inflation. He has no idea if potatoes grow underneath or above ground, and he has no idea whether flour is liquid or solid, but he speaks on every topic.”
Patra added that Rahul Gandhi’s speech was “immature.”

वो नहीं जानते हैं कि कि आटा सॉलिड है या लिक्विड!

Amit Malviya is the head of BJP’s IT cell. He asked in a tweet “Whether Rahul Gandhi’s impending Presidency will be measured in kg or liter?”
Rahul Gandhi was also criticized by BJP spokeswoman Shehzad Poonawalla, who stated that to take him “seriously on price hike” is equivalent to taking “Congress seriously on battling corruption” and “Hitler seriously on human rights.”
Patra also referred to Gandhi’s comments at the gathering regarding the judiciary and media as “contempt of court” and “abysmally low.”
Gandhi claimed that there is “pressure” on all institutions, including the judiciary and the media, during his remarks at the rally.
He alleged that while the government is assaulting them, the media is under the grip of a few corporations and is not operating independently.
“From this high table of the BJP, we would like to urge to your Lordship this is contempt of court,” Patra responded to Gandhi’s accusations.
This democracy is incomplete without the media, he continued.
The Congress rally was renamed “Parivaar Bachao Andolan” by Patra, who said it was planned to preserve the Gandhi family’s survival.
