Pahalgam Terror Shooting: Indian Head Coach Gautam Gambhir gets Death Threat from ISIS

Former Indian Skipper Gautam Gambhir has received two death threats via email on 22 April, hours after the deadly attack on civilians and tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir. Gautam Gambhir reportedly received the mails – one in afternoon and one in the evening and the mails read ‘IKILLU’ from ‘ISIS Kashmir’, reported ANI.
These emails led Gautam Gambhir, a former Member of Parliament of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to file an FIR with the Rajinder Nagar Police Station in Delhi. Reacting to the cruel and fatal attack, Gambhir posted, “Praying for the families of the deceased. Those responsible for this will pay. India will strike.” in his X page.
This is the second time Gautam Gambhir has received such threats as in 2021, when he was an MP he received a similar mail.
The Pahalgam Terrorist Attack at a tourist spot in Jammu & Kashmir took the lives of 26 innocent civilians, creating shock waves across the world. This triggering incident was seen as one of the most gruesome open fire attacks in India in recent times.
