PM Modi’s meeting with the state CMs over lockdown 3.0 exit plan begins

Prime Minister Narendra Modi talks with the CMs over exiting the lockdown 3.0 begins today, a few hours ago. On Sunday, the Center had urged the states to guarantee firm adherence towards the measures in the containment zones. They also reminded the states for making sure no chaos happens throughout the nationwide lockdown.
While limitations were considerably eased on May 4 to support a slow economy, the administration is required to further ease the curb following May 17, when the lockdown is going to conclude.
The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) declared that Modi will hold the fifth video-meeting on managing the Covid-19 outbreak with the Chief Ministers of states at 3 pm on Monday.
As per the TOI, PM Modi is expected to discuss the further acceleration in financial activity in the nation as well as working towards containing the virus in containment zones.
The nation has been under a total lockdown since March 25, a step planned for breaking the chain of coronavirus pandemic. The virus has impacted around 4,000,000 individuals all around the globe, in India; it rose to 67,085 on Sunday. According to various experts, if states ease lockdown to improve economy may experience a huge spike in the number of Covid-19 cases.
