Latest Telegram brings group video and screen sharing
Telegram has updated its beta channel that brings improvement in group voice chat. Two new features will allow users to enjoy sharing videos and your device screen with others during a group call.
As indicated by Android Police, Telegram v7.8 beta presently allows you to effectively broadcast a video or share your mobile screen during a group voice call. To use this feature in the beta release, you’ll need to rename the chat and then you will need to add “#vid”.
Then, at that point, you can tap on the three-dot menu button in the group, and you’ll see the new options to share screen or record. While you can utilize these features in any group, the group members on the beta release won’t be able to see the video broadcast or neither your screen. They will just receive sound.
Alongside these new highlights, Telegram v7.8 beta carries some minor upgrades to the chat background. The background is now animated, and users can shift tones as they type a message. Users will have to check the GIF attached beneath to see the new animated background feature.
To set up a gradient background, users will need to move to the background menu in the appearance settings. Then one can select background colors and tap on the color button to add shades for the gradient effect. For the features to fill in as expected, you’ll need to choose at least three colors.
Right now, all the features mentioned above are there on the beta channel. Moreover, Telegram has shared no information about the steady rollout yet, it’s expected that the features will reach more users in proceeding weeks.
