Hrithik Roshan and Kiara Advani’s War 2 Gets a Release Date
Good news for War fans now Yash Raj Films announced that War 2 are going to release worldwide on August 14, 2025. This is the next film in their famous Spy Universe.
The news was shared on social media by YRF. They reshared a fan-made promotional post and wrote, “There will be mayhem in cinemas on August 14, 2025!” Fans are already excited.
The movie is a sequel to the 2019 film War. Hrithik Roshan will return as the lead. Ayan Mukerji will direct this time. The film also stars Jr NTR and Kiara Advani in important roles.

The YRF Spy Universe started in 2012 with Ek Tha Tiger, starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif. It became a hit and led to more films like Tiger Zinda Hai (2017) and Tiger 3 (2023).
In 2019 War expanded the universe after the by Pathaan (2023) with Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone.
YRF is working on more spy films. These include Pathaan 2, Tiger vs Pathaan (with Salman and SRK), and Alpha, the first female-led spy film starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari.
So, in 2025 people are going to witness a good package of action during the War 2.
