Firing Outside Guru Randhawa’s Delhi Gym Today: Is the Punjabi Singer Safe? Lawrence Bishnoi Gang Angle Explained

A major security threat was created in Delhi on Thursday when unknown gunmen reportedly shot at a fitness center connected with the Punjabi singer Guru Randhawa.

The shooting happened in Paschim Vihar, Delhi, where bike riders were said to shoot numerous times before escaping from the scene. There are no reports of anyone being injured so far as the authorities have initiated an inquiry into the matter.

The whole case came into the limelight when a post that claims to be written by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang revealed the motive behind their action, which is Guru Randhawa’s connection with Bollywood star Salman Khan.

What Exactly Happened?

Two unknown individuals came in on a motorcycle and shot towards the glass front of the gymnasium after which they made their escape. An investigation into the CCTV tapes is going on and different police teams are investigating the matter. There are no reports of any injuries till now.

As per the first few reports, some shots were fired by the suspects who caused fear and panic in the locality. The authorities have sealed the area and forensic teams are examining evidence from the site.

Is Guru Randhawa Safe?

At this point in time, it does not seem like Guru Randhawa was actually there at the place where the shooting happened.

There are currently no reports stating that the singer was injured because of the shooting. It seems like the target of the attack is his gym franchise and not the singer himself because he was not there during the shooting.

The police force has not yet issued any warning regarding Randhawa’s safety, but it is natural for them to be concerned given the situation.

This dispute became further heated when, according to some sources, a social media post claiming responsibility for the incident was uploaded to an account associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

Based on the claims made in the social media post and reported by several news websites, the gym attack was carried out as a result of the rumored closeness of Guru Randhawa and Salman Khan. This post allegedly referred to this incident as a “warning,” and promised future attacks if the warning is ignored.

It must be pointed out that up until now, the gang’s participation in this attack was never been officially proved.

Why Is Salman Khan’s Name Being Mentioned?

Salman Khan comes into the picture because of the longstanding feud between the Bishnoi gang and Salman Khan.

There have been numerous occasions in the past when individuals involved with the gang made death threats to Salman Khan, and in many cases, the attacks that happened in the past were attributed to this feud.

The current attack was intended to connect Guru Randhawa to this particular feud, where it was said that he was attacked because of the connection with Salman Khan.

What Are Police Investigating?

The main issues that investigators are interested in include the following:

• Who perpetrated the shooting?
• If the perpetrators were working under the orders of a gang.
• If the statement made in the social media site is true.

Whether the attack was meant to be a threat, extortion, or some other criminal act. Law enforcement agencies are examining the CCTV tapes, forensic samples, and communications regarding the crime.

Why This Incident Is Being Taken Seriously

Several incidents have been reported in recent times in Delhi where criminal gangs have resorted to shooting at public places to instill fear through acts of extortion or threat.

The reason why law enforcement agencies are giving special focus to the case is because of its links with the Bishnoi gang and its association with a company run by a celebrity.

Fortunately, no injuries occurred in the incident which otherwise would have turned out to be a serious tragedy.
