Chief Minister Adityanath Presents Saffron Party’s Political Resolution
Uttar Pradesh -For BJP held states, it was a matter of great pride that the UP-Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath presented BJP’s political resolution at the national executive meeting in person. He was the only CM to be present at the meeting on a Sunday afternoon. While other chief ministers attended the meeting via video conferencing from state headquarters along with state presidents, he was the only one to make it there in person.
The Political resolution is a significant document envisaging the party’s vision and scheme on which the government performs and its presentation is done by a senior leader. Former Party President Rajnath Singh has moved the Political resolution in the national executive meetings in 2017 and 2018.
Yogi’s role is being considered as important for the party’s return in UP in upcoming polls, as this win is important for BJP to return third time in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, political analysts believe. The decision to invite Yogi, by the party was also supported by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. According to her, ‘he deserves it as he performed that much well in the state.’
“Why should we not choose him? He is running the government in the most populous state. Everyone knows his work during the Covid Pandemic – be it for migrant laborers or creating jobs in villages. He has been a senior MP in Parliament, why should we not call him to place the Political resolution? We will surely do,” Sitharaman said.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Adityanath praised PM Modi for the all-around development in India. He said, under PM Modi, “nation’s global reputation has improved and the Indian passport has earned its respect”. It only makes sense for him to stand by the leader of the party who has been standing at the helm and manning the world’s second-largest population through troubled waters.
PM Modi’s mantra of ‘Trace, Test, Treat and Vaccine’ helped control Covid-19, the CM added. He also shared the progress of Covid kits being distributed to children of different age groups through vigilance committees also setting up booths to vaccinate parents of children below 12 years has been done. UP is religiously following the motto of “Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas of the PM, which makes UP the top in the implementation of 44 Central welfare Schemes. Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna 43 lakh houses have been built in rural and urban areas, while 2.61 crore toilets have been built under Swachh Bharat Mission.
