BTS will be returning to ‘The Tonight Show’ with their new single ‘Permission to Dance’

BTS has dropped a new video ‘Permission to Dance’ and for the BTS army, there is nothing more that they could have expected. Merely within three hours of releasing the video, the army force has helped it reach close to 20 million views on the video streaming platform Youtube. 

To promote their single, they will again be back on various variety and television shows and Jimmy Fallon is the one where they will be making their debut performance with this song. Earlier, the boy band had revealed that they will be appearing on the US tv show ‘The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon’ to promote and perform the song that has been made in collaboration with Ed Sheeran, Steve Mac, Jenna Andrews and Johnny McDaid. 

The American tv show host confirmed the news through a tweet on July 7. 

The teaser for the much-awaited song ‘Permission to Dance’ was released two days earlier and the teaser itself proved the popularity of the group as it topped the worldwide YouTube trends. The army could hardly imagine what was to come but many of them suggested that the song gave impressions of two of the famous One Direction songs–What makes you beautiful and Steal my girl.

Even after the release of the song many felt that the two bands had an uncanny resemblance to each other and there was hardly anyone who complained or disapproved of the idea. The music video is a fun dance track embedded with strength on vocals and unlike most of the band’s songs, does not consist of a rap battle in the middle.

Fans were very excited with the recent collaboration of BTS with Ed Sheeran and the Multi-Grammy winner also couldn’t hide his excitement of working with the most popular boy band in the world. He spilled the beans about the two stars coming together during a Q&A session on social media. He was asked about his favorite song by BTS to which Sheeran wittingly replied ‘Permission to Dance’. 

This new song is like a cherry on top of the cake because BTS had already released their summer track called ‘Butter’ a month ago. Butter continues to dominate charts having broken numerous world records and also winning music awards for sensational music and talent.
