BTS Suga Set to Complete Military Service This Week

Fans of BTS are starting the countdown towards the full reunion of the band. Min Yoongi, Suga, is supposed to finish his obligatory military service in a few days, which will be a critical day in the whole global trend of K-pop.
BIGHIT MUSIC put an end to the speculations about Suga and the military time by officially announcing on their platform. The entertainment agency confirmed that the Grammy-nominated rap artist has completed most of his duties as a Social Work Personnel, thus adding one more step to the group activities, so much expected by BTS.
BIGHIT MUSIC’S FULL STATEMENT:
“Hello.

BTS Members’ Alternative Service Journey
Suga took a different course of action, unlike his bandmates, because he had to fulfill medical obligations instead of the regular military service. The maker of the hit song, Daechwita, began his social work mission in September 2023, after an earlier shoulder injury made him an unfit candidate to perform in the regular assignments in the military.
The BTS member remained in contact with his fans by exchanging messages and updates at regular intervals of time during his service period. The message he sent recently as a part of the BTS FESTA celebration each year depicts how much he needs to reach his supporters once again and how touching the period of absence turns out to be.
According to industry sources, Suga is expected to be officially discharged on June 21, but by now, BIGHIT MUSIC has not made any official statement on the exact date. This strategic plan is to be compared with other endeavors of the company to balance the fans’ expectations and the privacy of the artists.
BTS Reunion Timeline Takes Shape
The event of Suga coming back is specifically most important to fans of BTS who have seen the group go through their military duty over the past years. Jin and J-Hope have already fulfilled their service terms, which sets a precedent for transitions in the rest of the members.Recently, things have been developing closely, with the conclusion of the duties by RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook several days ago, which has led to the eventual gathering of the whole group. This simultaneous fulfillment of military service sets the group up for possible joint efforts that have been expected during the period of the hiatus.
