UGC NET Admit Card Delay Sparks Candidate Concerns

The National Testing Agency has put UGC NET candidates in a holding situation due to reportive delays in the provision of the admit card. As examinations are set to begin on June 25, 2025, the inability of the agency to provide city intimation slips has interfered with the whole UGC NET admit card schedule, leading to a high uncertainty level among the aspirants across the country.
UGC NET Admit Card Process Stalled Due to City Slip Delays
The phenomenon of a systematic distribution of UGC NET admit card documents faced an obstacle, and NTA has failed to show self-compliance with deadlines set by NTA itself. The UGC NET admit card usually comes after the city intimation slip, but since the preliminary document has failed to meet its June 15 deadline, the whole process has been set off track. It is now a crisis that candidates have been waiting patiently to see their UGC NET admit card, yet they do not know when they will get vital information concerning the examination.
This administrative bottleneck has significantly impacted the UGC NET admit card distribution mechanism, as the agency cannot release the final admit cards without supplementing them with city allocations. The interdependency of this set of documents ensures that any delays in one part flow on to the whole process of the UGC NET admit card, so that candidates are deprived of crucial information to prepare them on how to perform well in tests.

Examination Schedule Unchanged Despite UGC NET Admit Card Delays
Despite the problem with the release of the UGC NET admit card, NTA has insisted that the examination timetable would remain the same. The computer-based examination will be conducted as scheduled between June 25 and June 29, 2025, and it will be done in 85 subjects in two daily sessions. The lack of the UGC NET admit card has, however, led to the inability of the respective candidates to be able to establish their examination time and venue.
The morning session will take place between 9.00 am to 12.00 pm, whereas the afternoon session will be between 3.00 pm to 6.00 pm. The candidates cannot know on which shift they have been scheduled unless they have their UGC NET admit card, and they will not be able to plan their strategy and preparation schedule.
