Bharat Tex 2025: The World’s Largest Textile Expo

The event which aims to display the entire value chain, which includes fibers, yarns, fabrics, garments, home textiles and technical textiles is the “Bharat Tex 2025” at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. This event will take place from Feb 14-17,2025, organised by the Ministry of Textiles, and a consortium of 12 Textile Export Promotion Councils. The theme of 2025 expo is the global resilient which coincides with India’s 5F vision such as Farm to Fibre, Fabric, Fashion, and Foreign Markets.
During the inauguration ceremony of the Bharat Tex 2025, notable officials took part and graced the event led by Union Minister of Textiles, Shri Giriraj Singh, Minister of State for Textiles, Shri Pabitra Margherita, Secretary and Additional Secretary of Ministry of Textiles Neelam Shami Rao and Rohit Kansal respectively. This iconic event attracted over 5000 exhibitors and participants from over 120 countries which could predominantly influence India in the growing global textile industry.
First day of Bharat Tex 2025 featured,

- CXO Roundtable – “Local for Global: Making in India for the World”
- Masterclass on ‘Kasthuri Cotton’
- The fusion of traditional Indian crafts & modern textile innovations exhibition which is named as “Indie Haat” was inaugurated.
