Tri-Series Final: New Zealand Kicks off the prelude of ICC with the Tri-Series win!
The tri-series final between Pakistan and New Zealand is receiving global attention from the cricket fans, to look at the strategies and the overall performances of both the teams as the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 nearing the launching countdown. On Feb 14, 2025 the final began at 2.30 pm at National Stadium Karachi.
Pakistan’s Fighting Innings
The well-acclaimed star openers of Pakistan Fakhar Zaman and Babar Azam began their innings with the partnership of 39 runs. Soon, the alliance is broken by the right-arm pacer Will. The top order was baffling to anchor a profound partnership later, the skipper Rizwan and Salman Ali Agha garnered the maximum runs together. But that too didn’t last for a long run and ended at 31.5 over with the fall of Rizwan’s wicket followed by Agha’s wicket at the 36.5 over. Fans were looking for a marvelous knock from one of their expected top order batsmen but Pakistan Men finished their batting and slated a fighting score of 242 with no wickets left in hands.
