The manufacturer launched a unique store-on-wheels retail concept that will travel to villages and non-metro citizens selling their range of products.
Xiaomi executives sent out a tweet with the first visuals of the Mi Store on Wheels, a travelling retails experience. The concept has been launched in order to make up for the loss of footfalls in their physical stores due to the pandemic and the lockdown, bringing the Xiaomi experience to the home, and also to better serve their non-metro customers in the “heart of India”.
Set up like a food van, the mobile store is essentially a van converted into a pop up store. In addition to selling their smartphone, the store will also feature their latest line up of smart watches, speakers, power banks, TVs, sticks, CCTV cameras, Mi box, wireless earphones, Mi sunglasses, earbuds and more. Each van carries a distinct serial number that will enable its tracking as it traverses the country.
