What is World Food Safety Day?

Why World Food Safety Day is celebrated?
The reason for World Food Safety Day is that in December 2018, the United Nations General Assembly decided it was important to have a special platform to handle global food safety concerns. The first installation of the edition was held on June 7, 2019, and since then, it has developed into an event that touches more and more lives.
People realized that hundreds of millions fall sick from food every year, which puts pressure on healthcare systems all around the globe.
