Looking at the condition around, UAE extended a helping hand for hosting Afghan families, especially women and children. They are at the forefront and are taking required measures to provide these families with care and social support.
The initiative is led by Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces. They exclusively designed a plan which protects and safeguard these families without compromising on their dignity and self-respect.
The programme takes place against the backdrop of the UAE’s provision of support and facilitation of flights for a number of nations and non-government organisations to safely evacuate their officials and support staff. This also involves Afghan nationals who were stuck in Afghanistan and were willing to flee away.
