Previously, individuals were permitted to stay in the country for one month after canceling their residency visas, but this time around they will have six months to do so.
The new visas include a conventional 60-day entry visa, as opposed to the current 30 days, and a 5-years, multiple-entry tourist visa policy that enables visitors to remain in the nation for as long as 90 days consecutively.

Visa Schemes For Skilled & Self-Employed
The UAE will also provide degree holders with a job search visa that does not necessitate a sponsor or host, as well as five-year green visas that are aimed at qualified and independent workers.
After they turn 18, parents can endorse their male children until the age of 25, allowing them to remain in the Emirates after finishing high school and university.
The golden visa programme will also be enhanced, making it simpler for skilled workers earning $8,100 a month or more to obtain a 10-year visa.
The Initiative of UAE’s Latest Visa Scheme
On October 3, the UAE’s new visa policy will go into effect, the authorities stated on Monday.
The new regulations are currently in a pilot phase for the following month before going into effect in four weeks, according to the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security.
Major changes approved by the Cabinet in April include better accessibility to the 10-year golden visa programme, lengthier visit visas for tourists, and long-term residency for in-demand professions.
The new edition of the UAE passport, which will begin issuing on October 3, is also included in the trial phase.

Updates made public on Monday at a news conference in Abu Dhabi included the fact that holders of golden visas cannot have them canceled if they travel outside the nation and that those who cancel their resident visas will have a grace period of six months to enter the country. Previously, people were formally given a month only.
The modifications mark one of the most significant revisions to the nation’s immigration laws in recent times.
