Proud moment for Lakshya Sen as he finishes runner-up in All England 2022
Indian shuttler Lakshya Sen has become the fifth Indian to reach the finals of prestigious All England Championship 2022. The moment left the people pouring his social media with wishes.
The 20-year-old shuttler went down to world number one and latest Olympic champion Victor Axelsen in the All England men’s singles final on Sunday. He exhibited some of the best badminton ever played by any Indian at the tournament leaving everyone craving for more of him.
His exceptional journey came to end with runners-up position as on the day of finals, the young lad ended up committing many errors which essentially made it easy for the already strong danish opponent to get over Sen.
The clash lasted for 53 minutes at the Barclaycard Arena. But ahead of the Sunday clash, on Saturday Sen wrote his name alongside the finalists of the All England championship along with Prakash Nath (1947), Prakash Padukone (1980, 1981), Pullela Gopichand (2001), and Saina Nehwal (2015).
