Kartik Aaryan was accused of threatening to walk out of the movie if the movie was released in theaters. The movie being talked about here is Shehzada, which is Hindi version of the hit Telugu movie Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo starring Allu Arjun.
The movie was scheduled to release in theaters on January 26 but the producer of the movie, Manish Shah, alleged that Kartik Aaryan threatened to quit Shehzadaa if the movie was released in theaters.
The actor was defended by Bhushan Kumar of T-Series who said, “We, the producers, felt that Shehzada should release in theaters first and not the Hindi version of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo.”
This was the reason why the team requested Goldmines not release the Hindi dubbed version of the telugu movie in theaters, explained Kumar. He also stated that the release of the movie is entirely the call of the producer and the actor has nothing to do with it.
