Iran- Israel Exclusive Updates: Iran Has No Immediate Plan Of Retaliation Against Israel
On 19 April 2024, Friday things got worse in the Middle East. Syria’s defence unit was attacked by missiles launched by Israel. This news was given by Syria’s news agency SANA. Earlier during the same day Iran activated its air defenses after sounds of several explosions and near Isfahan, one of the major base city drones was seen. However, this is not clear that Iran is under attack by Israel.
Senior Iranian official after the attack said that Iran has “no immediate plan to attack or retaliate against Israel ”, reported by news agency Reuters.
Siavosh Mihandoush, a senior commander of the Iran army, stated that no harm was caused due to the attack. Iran’s many nuclear sites are established in the Isfahan region; one of the sites includes Natanz; which site is crucial for creating uranium.
After the blast, many airlines changed their flight paths over Iran, some flights are returning to the departures and some are diverted to other routes as Iran closed its airspace.
But the airspaces and airports were reopened by 0445 GMT. Later closure notices were deleted from the US Federal Aviation Administration.
Escalation Reason Between Iran and Israel
The reason for this attack roots back to 300 drones and missiles launched by Tehran on April 14 in a retaliatory attack toward Israel. These attacks were an attack by Israel on April 1 2024 on an Iranian consulate building in Damascus. The consequence of this attack was the death of 13 people out of which two of them were high-ranking members of the Iran Revolutionary Guard.
