Elon Musk’s new pet has more influence on crypto values than most humans do

In a tweet, Elon Musk shared a picture of his puppy who is sleeping blissfully unaware of the ripples its photo has created in the cryptocurrency world.

Elon Musk does this once again. The Tesla and SpaceX founder plays with the prices of cryptocurrencies as the values of Dogecoin and several other tokens see a surge in the last 24 hours. Musk shared a picture of his new pet dog, a Shiba Inu puppy.

Along with the photo, Musk wrote in the caption “Floki has arrived” and within seconds his tweet went viral. The value of another cryptocurrency, Floki Inu, has surged by 59.08 per cent in the last 24 hours, while Shiba Floki has registered a growth of 23.46 per cent. As per Coin Market Cap, they reported record jump prices for Shiba Floki, the biggest gainer, traded at a high of $0.000000005961, with a rise of 958.09 per cent.

Excited by the arrival of Shiba Inu, netizens congratulated Elon Musk and shared a storm of memes for their ‘Dogefeather’, a term which had now become reality. A netizen even asked for a picture of Floki and Marvin, who is the other dog owned by Musk. Although, the tech billionaire revealed that they weren’t friends yet
