Delhi to Host Massive Traffic Challan Settlement Drive

Delhi State Legal Services Authority has scheduled May 10, 2025 for National Lok Adalat to address outstanding traffic challans across the city. The one-day event will operate from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at seven court complexes throughout Delhi.
A total of 180 benches awaits approximately 180,000 traffic challans and notices that were distributed before January 31, 2025. Seven Delhi court complexes including Dwarka and Karkardooma along with Patiala House and Rohini and Rouse Avenue and Saket and Tis Hazari will conduct the initiative simultaneously.

Eligibility Criteria
Vehicle owners should note the following limitations:
- Private vehicles: Maximum of seven notices/challans (five notices and two challans)
- Commercial vehicles: Maximum of two notices/challans
- Only compoundable challans available on the Delhi Traffic Police Portal are eligible
The court excludes the categories of notices without compounds together with declined cognizances and paid notices and those disposed-off and transferred to other courts.
Interested participants can download and print their challans from the Delhi Traffic Police website starting May 5, 2025, at 10:00 AM. The website operates a system that distributes 60000 downloads each day until all available material reaches subscribers. Vehicle owners need to present their printed documents at their appropriated court facility during their assigned time slot.
