Ashok Dham Temple Stampede in Lakhisarai: What Happened, Death Toll and Compensation

Seven pilgrims have died and many others have been injured due to a deadly stampede that took place at the Ashok Dham Temple in the Lakhisarai district of Bihar on Monday, August 17, 2026. It is to be noted that this tragedy happened on the third Monday of the sacred month of Shravan when devotees were offering water to Lord Shiva.
