Anthropic Announces Claude 4 AI Models

The Claude series from Anthropic is now officially available, introducing Claude Opus 4 and Claude Sonnet 4, major improvements in AI technology. With the update, the models are raising the standard in programming, data analysis and AI agent autonomy.

Among the world’s coding models, Claude Opus 4 distinguishes itself by reaching exceptional results of 72.5% on SWE-bench and 43.2% on Terminal-bench evaluations. Such a resilient system is capable of handling complex operations continuously for hours on end, without losing its outstanding performance.
With Claude Sonnet 4, the project developers made considerable progress, exceeding the earlier Sonnet 3.7 by providing advanced programming and more accurate instruction following. Right now, GitHub, cand Replit are incorporating these language models, reporting better code quality and smoother workflow for development.

Both models present advancements including an extended reasoning method, the use of connected tools, parallel processing abilities and better memory systems. By using local files, these systems can track context and keep building their knowledge over time.
With this release, Claude Code can now be used by everyone and fits smoothly into popular environments such as VS Code and JetBrains. With API functionality, developers may design more powerful AI agents which is possible through the use of code execution tools and file control.
