WPL 2025: Grand Inauguration, schedule, and more!

This is the third edition of “WPL – Women’s Premier League” with five teams to battle for the prestigious trophy. After IPL, WPL has been receiving a huge recognition and the fans of men’s cricket are celebrating this wonderful initiative to promote women’s cricket and the importance of involving women in the sports as a part of empowerment. Today, on Feb 14, 2025, the “WPL-2025” will kick off with the inaugural performances of acclaimed B-Town actor Ayushmann Khuranna alongside the renowned singer Madhubanti Bagchi. 

Teams & Captain

The 2025 WPL edition will run from Feb 14 – Mar 15, 2025 which are scheduled in the following venues,

• Kotambi Stadium, Vadodara
• M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru
• Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow 
• Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai

The timing of all the WPL 2025 matches will begin at 7.30 pm. It will broadcasted on the Star Sports network and the online streaming will be available on JioHotstar.
