Will PM Modi extend lockdown till June 1?

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today spoke with Cheif Ministers of Indian states via video conferencing today. Today April 27,2020 marks the 13th day of India’s Lockdown 2.0 which started on April 15. The on-going lockdown is about to end on May 3 which happens to be coming Sunday.
First Lockdown in India announced by PM Modi
Initially, On March 20,2020 Prime Minister Modi had his first video conferencing with CM of States to discuss about Corona Pandemic. The meeting clearly led to declare the first one-day lockdown called ‘Janata Curfew’ on March 22,2020(Sunday). PM Modi asked people to stay inside their home for one day between 7am-9pm.
Later, Janata Curfew, the covid-19 cases in India didn’t show a fall instead showed a rising graph which made our PM Narendra Modi to decalre the first 21 day lockdown in our India via LIVE in his official Twitter page. The first lockdown of India was announced by Modi on March 24(Tuesday) and was about to end on April 14.
While the first lockdown in India then, the rise in the numbers of covid-19 cases exibhitted a terrible growth from the foriegn returns, unwanted gatherings of people and the people crowded at markets because of getting panicked.
Lockdown 2.0 announced by PM Modi
The first lockdown in India, which is about to end on April 14 was then extended upto May 3,2020 which is said to ‘Lockdown 2.0′. PM Modi likewise the first lockdown announcement, made this second lockdown’s announcement after interacting with the States’ Chief Ministers about corona pandemic in each and every state of India on April 11, 2020.
Will PM Modi announce Lockdown 3.0 soon?
Now, the second lockdown in India is about to end in another 6 days and hereby Modi announced about his meeting with States’ Chief Ministers to discuss about the current situation and control measures in fighting corona pandemic. However, the Goverment Officials told that today’s meeting is about a fiscal package that shall be announced later after taking the inputs from States’ Chief Ministers doesn’t reduced the panic among people that locdown may not end on May-3 as said before.
On the other side, comparing our population and medical facilities among other Nations, both the first and second lockdown have really fetched good results while the grown ups like USA and UK were stumbling to handle the corona pandemic.
Meanwhile,Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi had a telephone conversation with H.E. Lee Hsien Loong, Prime Minister of Singapore on 23rd April 2020 in which the two leaders exchanged views on the COVID-19 pandemic. They also updated each other on the control measures being adopted in their respective countries to fight against the pandemic. It is notable that, Singapore PM have already announced the extension of the ongoing lockdown on their Nation via Television addressing. The lockdown in singapore is extended upto June-1 which denotes that the month of May is complete lockdown.

PM Modi’s meeting with Chief Ministers today will be followed by Modi’s address to the Nation later this week. The total number of Covid-19 confirmed cases in India is 27,892, the death toll caused by the pandemic is 872. So far, 6,185 positive cases have recovered which shows the rise in recovery rate from 19% to 22%.
So, there are strong suggestions that lockdown may get extended for complete May month and shall be announced by PM Modi very soon. Be prepared to stay inside and stay safe.
