West Ham Shocks Arsenal With A 2-0 Victory In Away Match, What Now?

Arsenal, a famous football team, played a game at their home ground against West Ham. This match was important because David Moyes, the manager of West Ham, had never won against big teams like Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester United when playing away from home. 

But this time, West Ham won the match with a score of 2-0. This was Moyes’s first win against a big team in an away match after trying 72 times before.

In the game, Tomas Soucek from West Ham scored the first goal, and then Konstantinos Mavropanos, who used to play for Arsenal, scored another goal. These goals helped West Ham to win. 

Arsenal tried hard to score but couldn’t. They had many chances but couldn’t make them into goals. West Ham’s defense was very strong, and Arsenal couldn’t break through it.

After the match, Moyes said that his team focused on defending well and they succeeded. He was happy with how his team stopped Arsenal from scoring.

This win was great for West Ham because it helped them move up in the league standings, going above Manchester United to sixth place. 

For Arsenal, this was a setback. They had a lot of control in the game but couldn’t score. Their captain, Martin Ødegaard, said they need to do better in scoring goals.
