We Have Learnt Our Lesson From Wars, Want Peace Now: Pakistan
Pakistan’s PM said the 3 wars with India have only created more misery, poverty & unemployment in the country. We suffered a lot, we want peace now.
The previous wars with India have increased suffering, destitution, and unemployment among the populace, according to Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who has emphasized that India and Pakistan should get down at a table and address the Kashmir issue.
“Let’s have real and sincere talks to handle our pressing concerns, including Kashmir, at the table, is my proposal to the Indian leadership and Prime Minister Narendra Modi “Sharif recently spoke with a news outlet.
In Jammu and Kashmir, Sharif accused India of violating human rights and persecuting minorities. He argued that “this must end so that the word may travel around the world that India is willing to convene discussions.”
“Since India and Pakistan are neighbors, they must cooperate. It is up to us whether we coexist quietly and advance or fight and squander time and money.
Our three wars with India have only increased the suffering, destitution, and unemployment among the populace.
We’ve learned our lessons and as long as we can solve our real problems, we want to live in peace,” he spoke to Al Arabiya TV in Dubai.
Who will survive to relate what happens if a conflict breaks out, he said, “God forbid, we are nuclear powers, armed to the teeth.”
The Pakistani PM wrote in a letter to his Indian counterpart PM Narendra Modi, “We want to fight poverty, develop prosperity, and provide education, health facilities, and jobs to our people. That is the message I want to express to Prime Minister Modi.”
