Uber Launches EV Auto Rickshaws In Ayodhya Ahead Of Ram Mandir Ceremony
Taxi service company ‘Uber’ has started a new service using electric auto-rickshaws in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. This comes just before a big event, the Ram Mandir consecration ceremony, which is a religious and cultural ceremony for setting up the temple. Ayodhya is getting ready for this big day, expecting many visitors and important guests.
The electric auto rickshaws by Uber are a part of their ‘Uber Auto’ category. People can book these autos using the Uber app on their phones, just like they book regular Uber taxis.
This new service is not only easier for people to afford but also helps book rides faster. It’s a good way for people in Ayodhya, both locals and those coming from outside, to travel around the city easily and at a lower cost.
Along with this, Uber is also planning to start two more services – UberGo and Uber Intercity. UberGo is their most budget-friendly car service.
Uber Intercity will help people travel between Ayodhya and other cities in Uttar Pradesh. These services will make traveling more comfortable and give more choices to people visiting Ayodhya.
Prabhjeet Singh, the President of Uber India, said they are happy to bring these services to Ayodhya. He mentioned that this move is not just about giving people more ways to travel but also about creating job opportunities for the locals. It’s a part of their plan to support tourism in Ayodhya and make sure people have a smooth travel experience.
There’s a lot of excitement in Ayodhya right now. The city is getting ready for the ceremony of Lord Ram at the new Ram Temple, happening on January 22. The Prime Minister and the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh will be there for this special event.
The government of Uttar Pradesh is also setting up a big floating screen at a ghat in Ayodhya. This screen will show the ceremony and tell stories about Ayodhya’s history.
