UAE supplies immediate relief aids along with food assistance to Afghanistan

The United Arab Emirates has decided to help Afghanistan by sending urgent relief aids and food supplies to ease the pain of the people in the country. 

Afghanistan is struggling to the core and left with no choice, people are evacuating the country but those, who have not been fortunate enough to receive help or leave the country, are staying there. Hence, the UAE has stepped up its efforts to help the nation deal with the current crisis efficiently. 

Today, the UAE sent a plane carrying food supplies for thousands of families in Afghanistan and looked out for the more vulnerable groups such as children, women, and elderly people. 

The urgent assistance is in line with the efforts made by the UAE in the war-torn country and its will to keep helping Afghan people in such circumstances. The UAE has always had a strong humanitarian presence around the world, especially since the Covid-19 pandemic started, and it is continuing to provide the same protection and support to Afghanistan as well.

The leadership policy of the Arab nation has always been in consideration with its humanitarian programs and efforts. The values withheld by the founding father of the country, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, have always found their reflection on the ground. 

The nation has always believed in tolerance and humanity and it continues to follow this path in this case as well. Even before the Taliban takeover, the UAE was contributing by providing developmental opportunities to people, which included education, study centers, hospitals, among other things. 

The kindness that the UAE has been extending to Afghanistan is not limited to providing humanitarian aid as the nation is also hosting Afghani families who have fled to escape the rule of the Taliban in their country.  

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Force had announced fool cooperation to these families a few days ago and assured that the UAE will assist their needs with all its capability.
