Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, the Republic of India’s External Affairs Minister was welcomed by Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister of UAE.

Sheikh Abdullah greeted Dr. Jaishankar, congratulated him on Republic Day and wished the Indian people ongoing progress and prosperity. The Indian External Affairs Minister and Sheikh Abdullah also discussed several regional and global developments.

Sheikh Abdullah and Dr. Jaishankar met in Abu Dhabi to talk about the two nation’s friendship and strategic partnership as well as methods to improve cooperation in the commercial, cultural, investment and economic spheres.
