RCB Brings in Tim Seifert to Replace Departing Jacob Bethell

Royal Challengers Bengaluru has brought Tim Seifert into its set-up for the rest of IPL 2025. The decision was made as Jacob Bethell prepares to travel with the England team. According to the franchise, Bethell will exit the tournament after they clash with Sunrisers Hyderabad on May 23 and travel with the England squad the next day. To keep the squad strong for the pressing part of the tournament, a fast replacement was required.
Tim Seifert brings a lot of international cricket experience to the Royal Challengers Bangalore organization. The Kiwi stumper has played 66 Twenty20 Internationals for New Zealand, making 1,540 runs in that format. Being able to play hard and having reliable hands in the field make him important to the team’s middle order.
